Construction Monitoring
PGE's staff experience also includes construction observation of horizontal directional drilling (HDD), microtunneling installations, vibration monitoring, pile driving observation, load test, and foundation construction. PGE's technical staff have 40-hour HAZWOPER health and safety training required to work on sites with possible soil and groundwater contamination. PGE's personnel is also experienced with using various field monitoring instruments to check for possible contamination, such as organic vapor analyzers (OVA), photo-ionization detectors (PID), combustible gas indicators, and Draeger Tubes. All of PGE's field personnel are trained in first aid/CPR and have OSHA 30-hr Construction Safety training.
